Denpasar-Pangdam IX/Udayana Major General TNI Harfendi, S.I.P., M.Sc., attended Health Service and Social Service activities in the context of 32 years of service for the 1991 Military Academy Alumni, which were held at Hongkong Garden, Jalan Bypass Ngurah Rai, Kesiman Kertalangu, Denpasar, Bali, on Saturday, October 21, 2023.
Carried out centrally in Malang, the health service activities held in Bali include general health examinations, specialist doctor examinations, influenza vaccinations, cleft lip surgery, cataract examinations, circumcisions, and blood donations. Meanwhile, social service activities were carried out in the form of distributing 5,000 basic food packages.
In his speech, when he was about to send off the social service group carrying basic food packages, Pangdam IX/Udayana said that the health service and social service activities in the context of Akabri's 32 years of service were being held simultaneously at 7 points in Indonesia as a form of concern for underprivileged communities.
"Currently, we will release the 91st Military Academy Social Service, which was carried out in the Bali region. Today, Saturday, October 21, 2003, at 08.30 WITA, the distribution of 5,000 basic food packages in the context of the 1991 Military Academy Social Service was declared to have started," said the Pangdam, accompanied by the Bali Regional Police Chief, Kasdam IX/Udayana, and Irdam IX/Udayana, as well as other Akabri 91 alumni.
The distribution of basic food packages uses 17 TNI and Polri official vehicles. Apart from that, to anticipate the current dry season, the 1991 Military Academy also provided assistance with drilled wells at 3 points, namely 2 points in Mengwi District, Badung, and 1 point in Tegalalang District, Gianyar.
It is known that this activity was held in Bali Province also because the Bali Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Pol Ida Bagus Kade Putra Narendra S.I.K., M.Sc., is one of the 7 Regional Police Chiefs who graduated from the 1991 Military Academy.
